Jim Webb ’64

Jim Webb was initiated into Upsilon Alpha of Phi Gamma Delta in 1964. During his college years at University of Arizona, he served as the Upsilon Alpha Historian from ’66-’67. To this day Jim said his closest friends are his fraternity brothers.

Not only is Jim an outstanding member of Phi Gamma Delta, he was also involved with Bobcats, he was the president of Traditions, and held a chair position for Associated Students of the University of Arizona.

Since his college years he has continued his involvement and leadership in serval ways. He has been the past presidents of Arizona National Livestock Show, Arizona Cattle Growers Association, National Cattlemen’s Beef Board, University of Arizona Ag 100 Council, and Project Central, a rural leadership group. He is also a member of the Arizona Beef Council and was a member of the Arizona State Land Department Board of Appeals for 1992-2004.

“The circle widens a bit as you get older, but truly, Phi Gamma Delta is not for college days alone.”
