Join undergraduate brothers at the chapter house at 6:00pm MST on Monday, March 21 for a presentation on real estate development and investment careers by Scott Douglas '84. Brother Douglas is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner for West Coast Capital Partners. The presentation will be made during the chapter meeting.

About Scott Douglas '84

  • Attended University of Arizona from 1980-1984
  • Corresponding Secretary, Graduate Relations Chairman, Bobcats, numerous internships
  • Graduated from University of Arizona in 1984 with a double major in Finance and Real Estate
  • Research Fellow at Yale University
  • Corporate and Real Estate Lending at Security Pacific Bank from 1985-1988
  • Oversaw loan work outs and distressed real estate for Glendale Federal Bank from 1989-1993
  • Attained MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business in 1992
  • Southwest Value Partners from 1993-2004
  • Founded West Coast Capital in 2002
  • Acquired more office buildings in the South Bay in Los Angeles than any individual from 1997-2005
  • Acquired numerous office and medical office buildings in Phoenix, Beverly Hills and Tucson
  • Sold 80% of the portfolio in 2006-2007
  • Raised a fund to acquire distressed debt and troubled real estate in 2007
  • Acquired loans and distressed office, medical office and retail projects in Phoenix, Southern CA and Las Vegas
  • 2014-present – Acquired over 70% of the class “A” office space in Tucson
  • 2020-present – University of Arizona Foundation Board – Investment Committee Member
